Join us in Seattle for the annual tribute show to celebrate the life, music and legacy of Layne Staley and other Seattle musicians gone to soon. Held each August near Layne’s birthday, all proceeds from the tribute weekend will be donated to Layne Staley Memorial Fund benefitting Therapeutic Health Services (THS), an addiction and recovery organization working to help those struggling with addiction, and supporting those on the path to recovery. Opioid addiction and fentanyl use continue to be a major health concern in the greater Seattle area. Layne Staley Tribute Weekend is our 23-year ongoing commitment to raising awareness of the addiction epidemic and to the related resources available for those in our communities that are in need of empathy, assistance and support.
LAYNE STALEY TRIBUTE 2025 Layne Staley Tribute 2025 will consist of two shows at The Neptune Theatre in Seattle’s University District. Thursday, August 21st – A fan organized gathering at the International Fountain Friday, August 22nd – STG Presents: Grunge Night – A Tribute to Seattle Music Saturday, August 23rd – STG Presents: Layne Staley Tribute 2025 A fan-organized gathering at the Seattle Center International Fountain will occur at 7pm on Thursday Join us Thursday, August 21st for the fan-organized annual gathering at the Seattle Center International Fountain at 7pm. This is always a special opportunity for fans to gather in a celebration of life, to meet new friends and reunite with returning ones, and to share, laugh, and remember Layne and Mike alongside Layne’s mother, Nancy, his father, Phil, Gayle Starr and others. This is also an opportunity to honor the memory of other great Seattle musicians gone too soon with candles to light for Layne Staley, Mike Starr, Chris Cornell, Andy Wood, Kurt Cobain, Mark Lanegan, Shawn Smith, and more. Mission

This website was created in hopes to turn the tragedy of Layne's death into hope for those that suffer. Throughout layne-staley.com, we work to provide support, education, resources, and encourgement for addiction recovery; as well as to preserve and display Layne's beautiful legacy through the art and thoughts from all of you, the fans. This is a safe place for all family, friends, and fans to stay connected for the common goal of sharing information, support, and resources for sustained recovery. Everything throughout layne-staley.com is very personal and incredibly raw. We hope that as you explore the contents of this site that you are able to feel the love. If you are here for help, let this be your sign. It's okay to be afraid to take back your life, but dont let it stop you.
