This year’s Tribute Events:

Thursday night, August 23rd, @The International Fountain in the Seattle Center, from 6:30pm-8:00pm; then, off to nearby El Corazon (the old Off Ramp) for cover-band tributes to Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana.

Friday night, August 24th, Jar of Flies (Alice in Chains Tribute band) will honor Layne Staley by performing the music of Alice in Chains and Mad Season @ The Showbox/Market. Hope to see you at both shows!

Saturday night, August 25th, Alice in Chains, themselves, will be at ‘Pain in the Grass’ @White River Amphitheater, Auburn, WA. It will be a weekend to remember.

Seattle fills up with music and tourists throughout the summer; so, if you are able to attend, make reservations as early as possible.

For more listening, Layne sings Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall” on The Faculty soundtrack, Bob Dylan’s “Ring Them Bells” w/Heart on Desire Walks On, and “I Don’t Want to Be a Soldier” on Working Class Hero, a tribute to John Lennon’s music.

Mad Season/Above, original and enhanced, continues to share Layne’s final thoughts. I refer to it as ‘his swansong’. I’m sure that you will love both.

AiC music (w/Layne) can also be found on the movie soundtracks of Marvin’s Room, Blackhawk Down, Funny People, Singles, Clerks, Street Fighter II: the Animated Movie, Riding Giants and Grand Theft Auto: Sam Andrews, Burnout Paradise, Terminator Salvation, & Madden NFL 10. Enjoy!

Please forward this announcement to your family, friends, and social media communities… thanks!

Hope you can join us!

“Layne…brought me into recovery. The damage I did to myself, coupled with the blessings of his spirit, amazing coincidences, and the blessing of the Universe, is a powerful message that I’m getting this last chance & I need to share my experience, strength and hope”. Ronni T.

It is an honor to partner with Layne and his legacy in continuing to raise our voices in awareness and hope.

Thank you for your past support and continuing interest.

Dad had a Kind and Tender Heart. He was Unconditionally Loving and Compassionate and was a Devoted, Supportive and Selfless Father.
He had Great Friends that he shared deep relationships with. He was a Philanthropist, and I believe his greatest satisfaction in life may well have been in giving his time to others that need love and support. A Child’s Bedtime Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep.
I pray thee, Lord, my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray thee, Lord, my soul to take.
If I should live for other days,
I pray thee, Lord, to guide my ways
