When tackling addiction, think of it as you would any other disease. Self-care is the key. Be clean, still, rested, hydrated, fed w/nutritious foods, daylight (walk 2 minutes, run 1, walk 2 minutes, run 1, etc.), human touch 12 times a day including 5 hugs. This doesn’t mean a love relationship. Be sure to shake hands, pat a friend on the back…that sort of thing.

These are the basics. Self-care is the first measure of our mental health. When this routine is a habit, you will feel and know the difference.
